Nottingham Forest midfielder Harry Arter has joined Notts County on loan for the rest of the season.
The 32-year-old has not been part of the first-team set-up at the City Ground for some time. And he will make the switch to Meadow Lane for the final weeks of the campaign, until May.
Arter joined the Reds from Bournemouth during the summer window of 2020. He has played 14 times in the Garibaldi since then, although the last time he featured was in the 1-0 FA Cup win over Cardiff City 12 months ago.

He signed a three-year deal when he made the switch, which is due to expire in the summer of 2023. But he was one of a group of players told they were free to move on last summer, as Forest looked to trim their squad.
Arter then went on loan to Charlton Athletic for the first half of this term. He was due to spend the season there, but he opted to take up the option to bring an early end to that spell in January. He was hampered by injury during his time with the League One outfit, making just five appearances in total - four of those in the league.
After his return, Reds boss Steve Cooper said he would not be part of his plans. “He’s not involved with the first-team at the moment,” the Welshman said at the time.
“I know his loan is up at Charlton. The club are in discussions with him about what’s next, but he’s not one, at the moment, that we’re intending to involve.”

Arter makes the switch to the National League Magpies, who have been hit by injuries and illness this week. Ian Burchnall’s side went a fifth match without a win in all competitions as they lost 3-0 at Stockport County on Tuesday night.
