Ever since country music star Garth Brooks decided to take a public stand on the Bud Light controversy back in early June, he's been the target of what some call the "woke war."
After refusing to ban Bud Light in his Nashville bar Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, vocal Right wing activists were quick to criticize Brooks -- which is amusing, as the singer has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ+ rights long before the Bud Light controversy even existed.

Now a video of Brooks advocating donating to the Ukraine war alongside Trisha Yearwood that was posted in 2022 was resurfaced on Twitter by the political podcast Shipwreck Show and drawing new criticism, despite the fact that it's nothing new.

In fact, folks are attacking this video like it just happened this morning, with some quoting the bible and referring to the two country singers as "false prophets." Others said that supporting the Ukraine is "just a big kick back scheme for the DC elites."

In another line of attack, some swear that Brooks had to cancel his Vegas residency at Caesar's Palace because, well, "go woke, go broke." According to the Caesar's Palace official website, the residency is alive, well, and Brooks is performing his next show on July 20 at 8 PM.

Several posters also shared stories about the cancellations via the Dunning-Kruger Times, a website well known for its satirical take on real life events.
In other words, much to the dismay of the Right, Brooks is in fact not crumbling from the weight of his political views, but getting along just fine.
