The Foreign Office has again updated its guidance for people travelling to France from the UK.
As of Wednesday, January 25, the government department is urging all all passengers to check with their operators before travelling. It comes as unions across France are taking further strike action.
Last Thursday (January 19) saw widespread travel chaos in the country, on a day some dubbed "Black Thursday". Walkouts and demonstrations took place in protest to pension reforms in France.

Now more action is due to take place on Tuesday, January 31, and it is not expected to be the last day of strikes and protests. The Local reports unions have promised the "mother of all battles" against Emmanuel Macron’s plans, which include raising the retirement age from 62 to 64.
Gov.uk advice to travellers reads: "Several unions have called for cross-sector strike action and demonstrations on Tuesday 31 January. This may lead to disruption to services.
"Please check the latest advice with operators before travelling, avoid demonstrations and follow the advice of local authorities."
Unions called for the second day of strike action after more than a million people marched through French cities last Thursday.
