The government has advised people not to travel to the Middle East over escalating tensions in the region.

The Foreign Office warned British nationals to exercise increased caution when travelling to a number of holiday hotspots, including Cyprus, Egypt and Dubai, as geopolitical strains in the region continue to grow.
