The summer holidays are fast approaching and soon thousands of Glaswegians will be jetting off to sunny Spain.
However for those heading there. and Portugal, they may want to take caution with holidaymakers having been warned that a storm could wreak havoc on their plans, bringing lashings of rain and strong winds.
The UK Foreign Office has issued a warning about Storm Oscar, advising people to be wary of the adverse weather conditions and follow the advice of the local authority, reports the Daily Record.

The Canary Islands are likely to be worst hit by the storm, as well as Madeira, Porto Santo and the Azures in Portugal. There are several weather warnings in place for this week.
The Islands on the North West coast of Africa are expected to be affected by winds of up to 55mph until Thursday, June 8. Meanwhile a red weather warning has been installed across Madeira until today (June 7), with respective winds predicted to hit as high as 68mph.
The FCDO advises Brits to check with their tour operator before travel. It states: "You should check with your tour operator or accommodation provider before you travel and follow the instructions of local authorities."
According to the Spanish Meteorological Agency, heavy rain and strong winds are forecast, particularly for Tenerife, Palma, Gran Canaria and Valverde.
Gusts of up to 55mph have been forecast, as well as a 100 per cent change of rainfall in some of the most popular destinations like Tenerife and Palma.
Lanzarote and Fuertaventura will be less impacted by the storm, but there's still a chance that rainfall will hit later in the week.
The Foreign Office has advised holidaymakers to check with their tour operation or accommodation provider before setting off, as well as following any rules that they have put in place.
The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere has placed these locations under a weather warning for this day, detailing how Madeira will face high winds of 68mph and "strong and persistent" rainfall.
Thunderstorms are also possible, especially for those in the Azores.
As with the Canaries, holidaymakers are urged to follow any regulations put in place by their local authority.
