Forecasts for Below-Normal US Temps Weigh on Nat-Gas Prices

June Nymex natural gas (NGM26) on Tuesday closed down -0.013 (-0.45%).

Nat-gas prices on Tuesday fell to a 1-week low and settled lower amid forecasts of below-normal US weather, which will curb nat-gas demand from electricity providers to power air-conditioning. The Commodity Weather Group said Tuesday that forecasts shifted cooler, with below-average temperatures expected across the eastern half of the US from May 31 to June 4.
