Ford Motor Company is recalling a small number of Mustang Mach-E electric vehicles after discovering that replacement battery-control modules may incorrectly calculate the condition of the high-voltage battery, potentially resulting in unexpected power loss and an increased risk of fire.
The recall covers just 86 certain 2023–2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles, according to recall information filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
