A driver drove straight into the front of a police van.
Merseyside Police confirmed that a Ford Fiesta was driven into the front of one of the force's vans on Thursday, February 16. Following the crash on County Road at around 7.35pm, police said a 39-year-old woman from Everton failed a roadside breathalyser test before being arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
She has since been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson told the ECHO: "We arrested a woman following an RTC in Walton last night, Thursday 16 February. At around 7.35pm, there was a collision between a Ford Fiesta and a police car on County Road.
"The driver of the car, a woman aged 39 from Everton, failed a roadside test and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She has been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries."
