The police force that investigated Lucy Letby said it “strongly refutes” the comments made by Sir David Davis in the House of Commons on Thursday, in which he claimed there had been “multiple deviations from best professional practice”.
Cheshire Constabulary is criticsing those “attempting to destroy reputations” after the former cabinet minister claimed officers ignored or broke rules while working on the case.
