(Picture: PA Wire)Top retailers in Knightsbridge including Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Burberry said shopper numbers approached 2019 levels in the area in the first week of the post-Christmas sales.
Figures compiled by the Knightsbridge Partnership, which represents around 300 businesses in the area, and seen exclusively by the Evening Standard show that footfall for Knightsbridge was 45% higher between 26th December and 2nd January than the same week the previous year, and less than a percentage point below the equivalent period in 2019.
