Footballer Mason Greenwood has all charges against him dropped

Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood has had all criminal charges against him dropped.

The striker, 21, was charged in October with one count of attempted rape, one count of controlling and coercive behaviour and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and had been due to face trial in November.

The Crown Prosecution Service said on Thursday the decision had been taken to discontinue prosecution.
