Ex-Arsenal academy footballerJay Emmanuel-Thomas has been jailed for four years for his involvement in a £600,000 drug smuggling plot.
The forward, who played for clubs including QPR and Aberdeen, got involved in the conspiracy in a “catastrophic error of judgment” after falling into financial difficulty after a period out of contract, the court was told.
