There was spontaneous bedlam in the Portuguese top flight as Portimonese attacker Yago Cariello Ribeiro produced a gunslinging celebration following his winning goal for Portimonese against Vitoria.
The game was level at 1-1 and looked as though it would remain that way until Ribeiro stole a march on his marker and flicked a glancing header beyond the keeper and into the far corner of the net.
That precipitated a period of madness; the Brazilian wheeled away in celebration and in doing so grabbed the corner flag and pretended to shoot a gun at Vitoria fans.
Vitoria's players were not amused at Ribeiro's conduct and attempted to confront him as he continued to rile up the crowd.
Vitoria captain Bruno Varela acted as peacemaker to ensure the celebration did not lead to a major brawl.
Ribeiro was booked by the referee for his actions but it didn;t seem to bother him in the slightest as he fell to his knees and pointed to the heavens to further celebrate the precious goal.
Fans on Twitter had plenty to say about the incident.
One commented: "The craziest part is that he only got a yellow card for this."
While another said: "Can you imagine the reaction in Glasgow if someone did this at an old firm game?
Ribeiro's winner moved Portimonese into fourth place in the Primeira Liga behind Benfica, Braga and Porto.
