A football tournament in honour of slain teen Josh Dunne is to kick off in Ballymun in Dublin today.
Talented footballer Josh, 16, was killed in a horror incident during which he was stabbed in Dublin’s East Wall on January 26, 2021.
In hour of his memory his pals and teammates are holding the ‘Josh Dunne Tournament’ in Coultry Park, where the youngster was from, on Saturday. Featuring the Josh Dunne All Stars, Ballymun United and Sandyhill/Shangan, the tournament gets going from 11am.
Recently Josh’s heartbroken mother told how she was given back the clothes he was wearing on the day of the tragedy.
