Football stars paying $10,000 a night to holiday in USA where no-one knows them

Europe's footballing elite is increasingly enjoying "relative anonymity" by holidaying in $10,000-a-night luxury US mansions that feature everything from private jets to supercars.

Stars opting for a private trip to Los Angeles, away from prying eyes, include Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and Mariano Díaz, reveals Mokhtar Jabli from The Nightfall Group.

Benzema recently spent two weeks with his family enjoying everything the Hollywood Hills has to offer.

"We do everything for them from their flights, luggage, and transfers to luxury accommodations," Mokhtar, 30, told JamPrime.com.

"Then when they get here, they get supercars, private jets, concierge, nannies, and private chefs – you name it."

The 30-year-old entrepreneur believes the main draw of a trip to America is due to the privacy, since "soccer isn't as big" there.

He said: "All our locations are super private and many have security so they can relax safe in the knowledge they are secure.

"I think this – and the fact that soccer isn't as big in the US as it is in much of the rest of the world – is a big attraction.

"Benzema can walk down the street in Los Angeles with his family without getting stopped.

"The same won't be true in Spain or Italy.

"The big-name footballers get hassled everywhere they go, and I think they like being just a face in the crowd.

"We've also got great weather, food, and everything you could want on your doorstep.

"But I definitely believe that anonymity is a big pull."

Mokhtar also revealed that other stars including former PSG player Blaise Matuidi and Real Madrid star Mariano Díaz have enjoyed trips with the company, as well as numerous others that he's not allowed to name.

They pay an average of $10,000 a night for the luxury service – which caters for their every "want and need".

Mokhtar’s own lifestyle is a far cry from his humble beginning in Morocco and then France.

He always wanted to move to the US and after finishing a master's degree in Paris in 2016, moved straight to California.

But he struggled to make ends meet and while working as an intern at a financial firm, began renting out his room on Airbnb to survive.

For a while, he slept on the sofa before he opted to live in his car, in order to rent out his flat for $5,000 a month and save up money.

This became the inspiration for his business – after just one month, he had built up enough savings to rent two places.

This convinced Mokhtar to pursue a career in real estate rental and he has since turned The Nightfall Group into a multi-million dollar business.
