Football Manager 23 wonderkids: Jude Bellingham, Endrick, Gavi and the best 99 youngsters

The top 99 wonderkids in world football have been ranked by Football Manager 2023, with the brand-new game out now.

One of the most exciting prospects in any save is finding the next big talent for your club, and there are some incredible youngsters in Football Manager 2023, with one player even having the potential to hit 200/200. FM23 was officially given its full release on Tuesday for PC, Mac, Mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series S/X.

But, it was announced earlier this month that the PS5 release has been delayed indefinitely due to "unforeseen circumstances", with users having to wait to play the game. A number of new features have been introduced to FM23 by Sports Interactive including a Recruitment Revamp, new Match AI and Animation, Supporter Confidence, Dynamic Manager Timeline, UEFA licence and plenty more.

With the game available to play now, we've used the Football Manager 23 in-game editor to compile a list of the best 99 wonderkids based on Potential Ability (PA) in the new game to help you get off to the best start in your saves. Here are the top 99 wonderkids in the world, according to FM23.

The top 99 wonderkids in the world ranked by FM23

In FM23, each player is given a rating out of 200 for both Current Ability (CA) and Potential Ability (PA). CA is how good the player is now, whilst PA is how good the player can become in-game. So to create this list, we've used PA to judge how good these players can become.

The best youngsters are given a minus value for Potential Ability (PA), which gives them a potential ability range that can change depending on their development. A value of -10 means that the youngster could reach a Current Ability between 170/200 and 200/200, a value of -95 means that the youngster could reach a Current Ability between 160/200 and 190/200 and a value of -9 means that the youngster could reach a Current Ability between 150/200 and 180/200.

The list is restricted to players aged 21 or below at the start of the 2022/23 season in-game, and the isn't a definitive ranking because there are groups of players within ranges, so their peaks will vary from save to save. Brazilian wonderkid Endrick is the only player marked as -10 in the database, making him the only player who could potentially reach 200/200 CA.
