The Football Manager 2023 release date has finally been confirmed, with the game also set to debut on PS5 and Apple Arcade.
Sports Interactive has confirmed today that Football Manager 2023 will be released on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 for PC, Mac, Xbox and. PlayStation. Meanwhile, Football Manager 2023 Touch will also be released on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 for Nintendo Switch and Apple Arcade, so the game can be played on iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV for the first time.
Information is scarce about the new features that are coming to Football Manager 2023, but Sports Interactive has confirmed that the game will feature newly-licensed competitions like the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League. Sports Interactive has promised that new game features will be shown off in the coming weeks.
Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive’s Studio Director, said: “FM23 marks another significant step forward for the Football Manager series as we debut on two new platforms.
"Fans have been calling for us to produce a PlayStation title for a number of years, so I’m excited for those players to now get the chance to experience the closest thing to being a real football manager.
“Our decision to not release a Touch game on iOS or Android in 2021 was a difficult one to take and a disappointing one for some of our fans. This exciting partnership with Apple Arcade allows us to reintroduce a popular title in a way that makes sense for us as a studio and for the wider FM community.”
Alongside the release date being confirmed, Sports Interactive has also released an official trailer for FM23, which offers just a small tease of what is to come in FM23 this year, but not much more than that, so we'll have to wait for more news around features over the next few weeks before official release.
Anyone who pre-orders Football Manager 2023 on Steam, Epic Games and Microsoft Store will relieve two weeks early access prior to full release, plus a 20% discount.
