Nick Saban and Bill Belichick are no longer with the Alabama Crimson Tide and New England Patriots. It’s the end of an era.
If you haven’t been keeping track of the shakeups happening across the sports landscape this week, Nick Saban is retiring and Bill Belichick is out in New England. (Even long-time Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll got the boot. What a world.)
Saban and Belichick, both no longer being with their respective employers within seemingly 24 hours of each other, are wild concepts to grasp. It almost feels unreal.
But, if you’ve been paying attention, it makes a lot of sense, especially considering that the pair are good friends.
