Foot Locker becomes latest brand to drop Kanye West after his vile racist tweets

Kanye West has lost another lucrative gig after his vile racist outburst.

The rapper, 45, has already lost contracts with Adidas and Balenciaga and now sports brand Foot Locker has followed suit.

In a statement the company said: “Foot Locker, Inc. does not tolerate any form of antisemitism, or hateful and discriminatory behavior.

“While we remain a partner with Adidas and carry a wide assortment of their collections — we will not be supporting any future Yeezy product drops, and we have instructed our retail operators to pull any existing product from our shelves and digital sites.”

Kanye has lost his spot on the Forbes billionaires' list after Adidas confirmed it has terminated their partnership with the rapper.

The German sportswear company branded Ye's deplorable tweets as "unacceptable, hateful and dangerous". They join Gap Inc. and Kering SA’s Balenciaga fashion label in cutting ties with the father-of-four.

The furore started when the Donda star took to Twitter and continued an anti-Semitic attack on the "Jewish media" while making disturbing claims about the death of George Floyd.

He then taunted Adidas during an appearance on the podcast Drink Champs, in which the rapper said: "I can say anti-Semitic things, and Adidas can’t drop me. Now what? Now what?"

However, the German giant took action, announcing: "After a thorough review, the company has taken the decision to terminate the partnership with Ye immediately, end production of Yeezy-branded products and stop all payments to Ye and his companies. Adidas will stop the adidas Yeezy business with immediate effect."

Piers Morgan asked Ye if he was going to apologise for his remarks on his Uncensored show, saying: "You don't understand the pain you've been causing with these comments and I think with that one in particular."

The rapper quipped: "Oh my God, God forbid one comment could cause people to feel any of the pain that my people have went through for years.

"Even the Blacks being ushered to the left during the civil rights movement, no one has cared about black people!"

However, Ye later offered an apology of sorts, musing: "I will say I'm sorry for the people I hurt with the 'death con', with the confusion, I feel like I caused hurt and confusion and I am sorry for the families of the people who had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through.

"And that I used my platform where you say, I hurt people, and I was hurt."
