Food always plays a big role at The Hoppings and over the years the choices have expanded far beyond the ever-popular candyfloss and chips.
While some might not have a stomach for it after a spin on the waltzer or a whirl into the sky, most people like to include a snack or sweet treat as part of their traditional trip to the fair which opens on the Town Moor in Newcastle this Friday and runs until June 25.
Last year, new operators Crow Events introduced Feast Street, a new food court area, adjacent to a bar, in a prime location on the site, complete with a seating area opposite the Big Wheel. It will be back at The Hoppings this year and the company has confirmed the list of food outlets it will have on offer.
