Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl has been spotted backstage of the Pyramid Stage today (June 23) - fuelling rumours behind the identity of 'The Churnups' at Glastonbury. A band going by that name have been pencilled in to perform on the stage at 6.15pm before Royal Blood and Arctic Monkeys top the bill.
No formal announcement has been made yet by Glastonbury Festival about who The Churnups actually are. This has led to dozens of rumours to circle around the music industry about who will rock up on stage.
However, one person at Glastonbury believes he has solved the riddle. He posted a picture on Twitter after catching a glimpse of Grohl behind the scenes.

The festivalgoer called Richard shared a picture appearing to show Foo Fighters lead singer watching Maisie Peters perform. Richard said on Twitter: "Churnups are definitely Foo Fighters. Look who is currently back stage setting up."
His post was shared by the Secretglasto Twitter account, who said they were "trusting" Richard is not "pulling a fast one" by using a photo from previous years the Foo Fighters have performed at Glastonbury, with the band being one of the headline acts in 2017.
However, more eagle-eyed fans spotted a detail in the photo which appeared to suggest it is from today. Amy replied to Secretglasto by saying: "Can't be an old pic as can see the Arctic Monkeys' mirror ball in the back."
Several others also spotted the mirror ball in the background. Dan O'Dell said: "You can see Arctic Monkeys gear in the background.
"Big mirror ball plus some text in their font, which looks like it has their name on it."
Richard himself responded by saying: "Taken during the Maisie Peters set. I promise."
No formal announcement about who The Churnups are has been made by Glastonbury Festival yet.
