While submitting the film for certification, the makers of Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Thank God’ changed the name of the actor’s character from Chitragupt to ‘CG’ and his associate Yamdoot’s to simply ‘YD’. There are also three other modifications made in the film.
The Indra Kumar directorial reportedly received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on Friday.
Three other modifications have also been made. The makers have blurred the logo of a liquor brand in the frame. Secondly, they have changed a temple scene to a different angle. The third modification is in the disclaimer’s content at the beginning of the film. The duration the disclaimer stays on screen has also been increased to ensure the audience can read it, a report in Hindustan Times stated.
