Flybe passengers told not to go to Manchester Airport as airline collapses for second time

Flybe passengers have been told not to go to Manchester Airport after the regional airline ceased trading and cancelled all its scheduled flights with immediate effect.

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) made the announcement earlt this morning and urged those with booked Flybe flights not to travel to airports. A message posted to the Flybe website homepage reads: "On 28 January 2023, the High Court appointed David Pike and Mike Pink as Joint Administrators of Flybe Limited (“Flybe”).

"Flybe has now ceased trading and all flights from and to the UK operated by Flybe have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled."
