FlyBe has announced a total of 23 new routes across the UK - some of which are set to land in Glasgow Airport from destinations including Belfast City.
The new routes, set to begin next month, will see up to 530 flights being added and will commence on April 13. The airline confirmed more flights are expected to be announced in the coming months with fares starting at £29.99.
Key routes will include Belfast City to Glasgow, Birmingham to Edinburgh, Belfast City to London-Heathrow as well as Belfast City to Manchester.
The company has also announced it will be offering £10 off all fares purchased today (March 22) only to celebrate the launch. Flybe say their launch will help play a crucial role creating valuable jobs, connecting communities, and helping restart local economies across the UK.
The flights operator will serve 16 airports in the UK, France and the Netherlands in its first round as part of its ambitious network plans.
As well as flying within the UK, international flights will also be an option with some airports flying from Amsterdam, Avignon and Brest.
Discussing the news, Flybe CEO, Dave Pflieger, said: "We are delighted to now be out for sale and starting service next month. We think our new flights will benefit everyone who wants low fares and more flights to go on holiday and visit loved ones. Our new network will also ensure better regional connectivity inside the UK and between various UK and EU regions.
"Our goal is to create an airline that people love, and we aim to do that by making air travel on Flybe an easy and enjoyable experience so you will fly with us again in the future. The new Flybe team has worked tirelessly over the past year to create an airline that delivers on price, schedule, and choice, and we look forward to having you book a ticket on flybe.com and start flying again next month, this summer, and in the many years ahead!"
