Fly-tippers have been blasted as "disgusting" and "ignorant" after a pile of rubbish was dumped at the side of a road in Falkirk.
Furious locals hit out after pictures of the mess on the A803 road, between Polmont and Linlithgow, were shared on social media.
They show numerous bags of rubbish along with boxes and a huge fuel canister.
The Fixed Penalty Notice for fly-tipping in Scotland is £200.
As with other forms of littering, dumping waste is illegal and can lead to prosecution and a fine of up to £40,000.
Taking to Facebook over the weekend, one person said: "I drove passed this the other day and was absolutely horrified. Disgusting behaviour."
Another wrote: "What is the need, why could they not have just took all that s**** to the dump instead of dumping it at the side of the road. Ignorant b*******."
A third commented: "This actually enrages me."
"Tramps", said a fourth.
We have contacted Falkirk Council for comment.
