Flute bands from across Scotland descended on Ayrshire at the weekend to march.
Almost 100 clubs and bands headed to Irvine on Saturday afternoon for the Scottish Amalgamated Committee of the Apprentice Boys of Derry (ABOD).
The outfits paraded round the streets of the town with people lining up to watch the spectacle.
The event caused considerable traffic disruption with buses and motorists being delayed in the afternoon.
Police also warned that Marress Road (Northbound, Marress Roundabout to Burns Street) would be closed between 9am and 4pm.
Woodlands Avenue from the Bank Street junction to the Quarry Road junction, was also closed during the same time.
Bands from as far as Belfast took part in the march with outfits from Perth and Edinburgh also making the journey to Ayrshire.
