Floyd Mayweather has been warned about taking exhibition bouts against fighters who have a considerable size advantage over him.
Former five-weight world champion Mayweather competed in his latest exhibition venture last weekend, outclassing former sparring partner Don Moore. No official winner was declared after the unscored fight, which took place over eight rounds.
Mayweather retired from boxing after knocking out Conor McGregor in 2017, a win that took his flawless record to 50-0. Since his retirement, the 45-year-old has competed in exhibitions against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, YouTube star Logan Paul and now Moore.
When asked if Mayweather's latest exhibition fights hurt his reputation, MMA veteran referee John McCarthy said on his Weighing In podcast: "I don't think he cares. It's money. Let's be honest, when you have this type of fight, you can't even compare their abilities.

"When he looks really good, I don't think he's damaging anything. When he does something like the Logan Paul thing where you're putting yourself in against a guy who's 220 pounds, you can cause yourself problems because there's a reason you have weight classes, there's a reason size ... you've gotta be careful with what you do."
Mayweather gave up a six-inch height and 40lb weight advantage when he fought Paul. Despite the discrepancy in size, Mayweather outlanded the YouTube star and was the consensus winner despite the exhibition not being officially scored.
"Floyd, can't take anything away from him, he's a remarkable boxer. He's a remarkable businessman as far as his career and what he's done with it and his ability to make money. If people in the UAE want to do these things and pay him money, go. Go."
Mayweather reportedly earned up to $100m for his latest exhibition having earned $65m for going the distance with Paul last June. The ring legend has now promised to return to the UAE after his latest successful exhibition, stating he already knows his next opponent.
"I would like to thank everybody in the UAE, the media, and everybody who covered this fight," Mayweather said after his recent win. "This is one of the best countries in the world. I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. It's a secret. I don't want to let the cat out the bag right now."
There have been talks of an exhibition between Mayweather and fellow boxing legend Amir Khan. The British star admitted Mayweather told him to delay his retirement in the hopes of an exhibition bout between the pair.
