Floyd Mayweather pretends to be KO'd by one-year-old grandson in adorable video

Footage has emerged of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather teaching his one-year-old grandson how to box.

Mayweather is regarded as one of the greatest fighters of all-time having amassed a professional record of 50-0 which includes wins over Manny Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez and Oscar De La Hoya. Despite having hung up his gloves as a competitive fighter, 'Money' is continuing to compete on the exhibition circuit while taking time away from the sport to spend with his family.

The former undefeated champion has remained in training with his next fight fast approaching against YouTube star Deji at the Coca-Cola Arena on November 13. And in a new adorable video, Mayweather has been spotted attempting to pass on his expansive knowledge to his one-year-old grandson, who is the son of his daughter Iyanna and famous rapper NBA YoungBoy.

Mayweather can be seen in the video wearing a headguard and gloves as his grandson nervously walked over with the same attire on to receive help from the boxing legend. He walks in and throws a small punch into the gloves of Mayweather who had put his hands up to recreate the defence of a boxer.

He then begins lightly tapping the gloves of his grandson who lovingly stood with his grandfather but was uncertain whether to throw a punch. Footage then cut to a hilarious moment when his grandson punched Mayweather with his headguard on and he jokingly pretended to be knocked out from the shot.

That would make him the first person to have stopped the American, with Mayweather having never been beaten inside or outside the distance during his career. The 45-year-old will hoping that remains the case throughout his boxing exhibitions, which can involve heavy KO's i ncluding his recent stoppage win over Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura earlier this month.

Now as a promoter and exhibition fighter, Mayweather has continued to generate lucrative earnings from his high-profile which include in recent outings against Logan Paul and former sparring partner Don Moore. His upcoming event against YouTube star Deji will be his fifth boxing showcase without a scored result, and will see him earn another mammoth purse.

And Mayweather plans to continue his route in fighting and has already organised five more outings for 2023. "Well my focus right now is November 13 at Dubai in the Coca Cola Arena against another guy who is huge on YouTube," he said. "Then in 2023 we are doing Japan again, then Hawaii, Saudi Arabia, Africa and Abu Dhabi. We get calls every day and it all depends on what I want to do.

"But I have a great team and everyone played a major role in this event happening. They are getting me up every day and making sure is in certain positions so I am able to live comfortably."
