Floyd Maywether will fight in the UK for the first time ever next month when he takes on kickboxing star Liam Harrison.
The pair will meet in an exhibition bout at The O2 arena on February 25. Mayweather, 46, confirmed the news on Instagram, attaching an image of the poster for the event in London. He captioned: "London February 25, It’s official. My first exhibition fight in the UK will be at the O2 Arena. Tickets go on sale next week. Stay Tuned!!”
Decorated Muay Thai fighter Harrison, 37, known as The Hitman, has chalked up 50 KOs over the course of his 90-25-2 career.
Mayweather has not fought professionally since 2017 when he moved to 50-0 in the squared circle by seeing off MMA superstar Conor McGregor in Las Vegas. But he has kept himself busy since, competing in a clutch of exhibition bouts against Logan Paul, Deji and Mikuru Asakura among others.
Mayweather never fought outside of the USA over the course of his legendary professional career, including his epic victory over Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas in December 2007.

He hinted earlier this month that Britain would be the next stop on his exhibition tour, saying: "In February we're looking forward to coming here and putting on an exhibition for the fans in the UK, because I never had a chance to come over here and fight when I was actively boxing as a professional. So hopefully in February I'll come over and do an exhibition if it's possible.”
One of the most legendary boxers in history, Mayweather registered a number of famous victories as well as his win over Hatton, including against Manny Pacquiao, Oscar de la Hoya, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto, Marcos Maidana and Juan Manuel Marquez.
