A Florida woman recently went to support a group of kids running a lemonade stand across the street from her home. She walked up with $2, thinking that would be enough to buy a cup. But the kids were charging $3.50 for a single cup, which caught her off guard. She offered to go back home and get the rest of the money.
Before she could leave, a 4-year-old at the stand fired back with, “I mean, if you’re broke, just say that.” The woman was left feeling embarrassed, and her friends who were with her reacted with a mix of shock and laughter at the boldness of such a young child.
