One of the top EDGE rushers to be draft eligible this year has officially thrown his name into the hat for the 2024 NFL Draft. Florida State EDGE Jared Verse will skip the Orange Bowl in order to prepare for the upcoming pre-draft process.
Verse has been one of the most explosive and consistent edge rushers over the course of the last two seasons for the Seminoles, coming away with a pair of nine sacks seasons and being consistently the top pass rushing threat on the team. Verse projects well to the next level as a top-level athlete with plenty of developmental talent to push him up, draft boards.
Expect Verse to be taken in the top half of the draft as he competes to be the first edge rusher taken within his class. If Verse can dominate the pre-draft process as he is expected to do, he could be locked in as a top-10 pick come April.
