Florida city issues 44,000 school zone speeding tickets in less than one year

A Florida city has issued more than 44,000 tickets to motorists speeding through its school zones in less than one year.

The tickets were given for violations around Tallahassee schools from September 2025 to late May 2026, news outlet WCTV reported, citing public records.
