Florida billionaire eye doctor just dropped $100 million on a Miami cancer hospital - it will be renamed for him

A giant stride has been achieved in the field of philanthropic medicine in South Florida after what may be referred to as an incredible act of generosity that will forever revolutionise the way cancer patients are treated. A prominent local entrepreneur and physician has boldly committed an extraordinary sum of money to the enhancement of South Florida's medical care facilities. In a recent press statement made by the Baptist Health Foundation, an unprecedented donation of 100 million dollars has been made by Dr Herbert Wertheim, a billionaire optometric physician, inventor, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

In honour of this incredible move, the top cancer institute that is referred to as the Miami Cancer Institute shall now forever be referred to as the Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute. The multi-million dollar investment comes when there is an increase in the number of people and hence a need to provide for them in the metropolitan areas by the various large metropolitan hospitals.
