Florence Pugh's Cornell Post Is Visible Again After Meta Removes 'Sensitive' Label

The actor said Instagram had stopped her message from reaching ‘the right people’ before the platform reviewed its content decision (Credit: Screenshot/WWW/Youtube)

Florence Pugh's Instagram post about alleged sexual assault involving Cornell University fraternity members is once again fully visible to adult users, after Meta removed a 'sensitive content' label that had limited access to it. The reversal came after Pugh publicly accused Instagram of blocking her message from reaching 'the right people'.

Meta said the warning was originally added under its rules for posts describing sexual violence and exploitation. Following a further review, the company said the post met its criteria for a 'newsworthy allowance', so the label was taken off.
