Floods raised water 30 feet inside Texas’s largest commercial cave, bringing back a rare aquifer tour near San Antonio that visitors rarely get to see

Severe flooding in Texas has unexpectedly created a rare opportunity for visitors to experience one of the state's most fascinating underground landscapes. According to a report by MySA (My San Antonio) , rising floodwaters have pushed water levels nearly 30 feet higher inside Natural Bridge Caverns, the largest commercial cave system in Texas; temporarily reviving a guided aquifer tour that is usually unavailable. The unusual event has transformed parts of the ancient cave into a water-filled passage, allowing visitors to witness a natural phenomenon that occurs only under exceptional conditions.
