Flood warnings across the UK mapped as heavy rain causes cars to be entirely submerged

More than 60 flood warnings remain in place across the UK as torrential rain sees cars submerged and sewage pipes break.

The Environment Agency have issued 64 flood warnings for parts of the south west of England as Met Office weather warnings for rain stretch into Herefordshire and Shropshire.

Many of the warnings are around the River Avon, including Bradford on Avon, Burrowbridge, Chippenham and Malmesbury.
