There are several flood alerts and one more serious flood warning in place across Wales after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain. The warning is in place from 9pm on Wednesday, January 11 to 5pm on Thursday, January 12.
The warning covers all of south Wales and a large part of mid Wales. There was also a previous weather warning for Tuesday, menaing the country will have been battered by heavy downfalls for severl days. As a result, Natural Resources Wales has issued several flood warnings and alerts.
Issuing the yellow weather warning the Met Office warned that up to 90mm of water could fall within hours on higher ground and asked people to be aware of the risks of flooding. You can read the full details of the warning here.
