Flock of dead pigeons massacred in Leeds street 'sickens' alarmed residents

A flock of dead pigeons were mysteriously seen curled up beside a front lawn in a residential Leeds street.

The morbid sight has baffled the people of Seacroft, who were stunned by the tragic cluster of about 14 dead birds by the kerbside. They were seen in Brooklands Avenue on Sunday (May 20) at about 5pm.

The woman who saw the crop of dead animals was left “shocked” by the sight and has concerns that it may happen again. The woman, who did not want to be named said: “I was quite shocked, it’s not something I've seen around here before. I just hope it doesn't become a regular occurrence.”
