A flight carrying seven members of the Royal Family has landed in Scotland ahead of their expected arrival at Balmoral. The Queen has been placed under medical supervision with doctors "concerned for her health" Buckingham Palace said in a statement earlier today.
Members of her family including Prince Charles have travelled to Balmoral. Shortly before 4pm this afternoon a plane carrying seven members of the Royal Household touched down in Aberdeen.
Royal Air Force flight KRF23R took off from RAF Northolt in South Ruislip, west London, at 2.39pm, according to flight tracking website Flightradar24.com. The Dassault Falcon landed at Aberdeen airport at 3.50pm.

The plane was carrying the Duke of Cambridge Prince William, the Duke of York Prince Andrew and the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie the BBC said.
They are then expected to make their way to Balmoral. The Royal Family's Scottish estate is around an hour's drive from Aberdeen airport.
It is understood the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, is on his way to Balmoral separately from other royals but has been in co-ordination with other family members’ plans the Press Association (PA) reported.
The Duchess of Sussex is not travelling to Balmoral with the Duke, with Harry making the trip by himself, sources have told PA.
Meanwhile, there are no plans for the Prime Minister to travel to Scotland on Thursday or Friday, Downing Street said. The Prime Minister’s official spokesman also said he could not give any updates on the Queen’s health or whether Liz Truss has been in touch with the Palace.
“The Prime Minister is working from Downing Street this afternoon in a series of meetings,” he said. "As is standard, I wouldn’t get into any contact certainly between the Prime Minister and the Palace.”
Asked if there were any plans for the PM to travel to Scotland on Thursday or Friday, he said: “No.”
