A FLIGHT in Canada was cancelled after a child refused to sit down and fasten their seatbelt, leaving passengers stranded overnight.

The Porter Airlines flight headed to Toronto had left the terminal at Victoria International Airport in British Columbia and was preparing to head for the runway when the incident occurred.
