A former flight attendant has shared two beverages which she recommends should never be drank while flying, and the disgusting reason.
While airplane meals are far from the tastiest dishes you'll ever consume, ex-air hostess Kat Kamalani has shared two drinks in particular that should be avoided to avoid disappointment.
The TikTok star who has amassed over 992,000 followers recently took to social media to post a video detailing which products are a no-go while we're flying off on our holidays - captioning the clip: "Do not consume these things on a plane, from a flight attendant. Just promise me you won't."

The Mirror reports that Kat claims one of the biggest errors of judgement you can make while flying is consuming liquids which aren't stored in a sealed can or plastic bottle. She said: "The reason being is that those water tanks are never cleaned and they are disgusting.
"Talk to a flight attendant, we rarely, rarely drink the tea or coffee, they come from the same water tank and so when you're drinking that coffee and tea it comes from that hot water and it's absolutely disgusting."
The expert then went on to demonstrate the different sections of a coffee machine on an airplane, claiming that certain parts only ever see a scrubbing if they become broken. She added: "The whole machine is never cleaned AND they're by the lavatories."
And while you should never ask for a tea or coffee according to Kat, the seasoned veteran of flying also says that parents shouldn't ask for hot water for their baby bottles either. Instead, she recommends asking for a bottle of water and a cup of hot water.
She says you should make up the formula using the cold water, before heating the bottle up by placing it inside the cup of hot water.
It's unclear which airline Kat worked as a flight attendant for, although it is reported to have been in the United States.
In excess of a million people worldwide have viewed Kat's video, with thousands of TikTok users flooding the comments section with their opinions. Some were angry with the content, asking why flight attendants don't clean the water tanks if they're in such a disgusting state.
One person, replied: "You guys should clean them. Seriously that's messed up," while another, added: "Why don't you guys fix this if you know about it? This is irresponsible."
A third, claiming to be a fellow former flight attendant meanwhile agreed with Kat's synopsis, echoing: "Truth! As a former FA I can attest that this is 100% spot on."
Another TikTok user, wrote: "Whaaaa why? Ugh no wonder airline coffee is eh."
However, not all viewers were convinced by Kat's video, with one social media user who claims to work for airlines adding that it's not the case for all travel providers. They said: "In my airline water tanks are monitored and disinfected regularly.
"Also, the steel pots from coffee makers are changed after every flight by catering."
The very same user however later did state that water consumed on the plane should be 'bottled or heated' prior to drinking.
