  • The flight attendant who was found wounded and still strapped in her seat on the tarmac after a plane crash at LaGuardia Airport faces a long recovery, according to her daughter.
  • Solange Tremblay was onboard Air Canada Jazz flight 8646 from Montreal to LaGuardia on March 22 when the plane slammed into a fire truck on the runway. Two pilots were killed and Tremblay was flung 320 feet from the plane.

  • Her daughter, Sarah Lepine, has launched a GoFundMe page, which has raised nearly $140,000 toward a $160,000 target for her extensive recovery and rehabilitation.
  • The crash, the most serious incident at LaGuardia in decades and the first fatal one in 30 years, is currently under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
