This is the moment that hundreds of festival-goers legging it for cover after a sudden downpour soaked Parklife. Thousands of people were caught unprepared at around 4.15pm on Sunday when the rain came in a heavy, but short-lived burst.
With most wearing shorts, glitter, and sunglasses, their only protection from the elements came from a trusty bucket hat.

The first day, Saturday, might have lent the crowd a false sense of security, with it being dry for most of the day. However, the ravers’ luck very much ran out on this afternoon.
What started as a few spots of rain became a sudden downpour, forcing many to flee for cover. They used bushes, trees and food stands to shield themselves from the wet weather.

The rain didn’t dampen any spirits, though, and soon enough the sun burst out again, and the arenas began filling up again. Parklifers have a host of acts to look forward to this - hopefully dry -evening.
Among them are Lewis Capaldi, Megan Thee Stallion, Eric Prydz and US rapper Tyler, The Creator, who will headline the main stage.
