FKA Twigs recently opened up about the long-lasting effects of abuse, shedding light on the profound impact it has had on her life. The singer-songwriter bravely shared her experience, detailing the changes that occur in one's nervous system as a result of abuse.

In 2021, Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, accused her former partner Shia LaBeouf of sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress. Despite facing delays, the case is scheduled to go to court in October.
