Fixture date and time confirmed for Rangers' Premier Sports Cup match vs St Mirren

Rangers' Premier Sports Cup last-16 match against St Mirren has been picked for TV, the SPFL has confirmed.

Derek McInnes will take charge of Rangers for the first time in the competition next month, when they face St Mirren, who won the trophy last season against Celtic.

Now, the SPFL has released the fixture dates and television picks for the upcoming round, with Rangers' match set to be broadcast on Premier Sports.

The match at Ibrox will take place on Sunday, August 16, with a kick-off time of 4.00pm.

Last season, then-Danny Rohl's side got to the semi-final of the competition, where they were defeated 3-1 by Celtic after extra time.
