Five-year-old boy drowned in bath on New Year's Eve, inquest hears

A five-year-old boy drowned after suffering a seizure in the bath on New Year's Eve while his mum wrapped presents in another room, an inquest has heard - a month after his dad had also sadly died.

Jayden-Jay Silvester was found unresponsive at his home and could not be saved, despite his mum Lisa Johnson's efforts to resuscitate him.

Paramedics and staff at the Royal Stoke University Hospital were also unable to save Jayden-Jay's life, reports StokeonTrentLive.
