Five things we learned from Ohio State’s opening round win over Loyola Chicago

We really thought Ohio State was being undersold as a 1.5 point underdog in its opening-round matchup with Loyola Chicago. But who could blame the oddsmakers with the way the Buckeyes had been playing recently? Add on the fact that no one seemed to know if Chris Holtmann’s squad would be fully healthy when they took the floor against the Ramblers.

An early exit from the Big Ten Tournament wasn’t what anyone wanted, but maybe it’s just what the Bucks needed to get healthy if they want to make a run in the Big Dance. Ohio State came out on top of Loyola with a 13 point victory by a score of 54-41.
