Five-star Tennessee commit David Sanders Jr. in Columbus for Ohio State vs. Indiana

The Ohio State Buckeyes often get a looked at by some of the best rising stars in high school football. And, it’ll have the opportunity to impressive one that has seemingly already made up his mind.

David Sanders Jr., per Eleven Warriors, will be on campus for Ohio State’s top-five battle with the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday. Sanders Jr. is already committed to Tennessee, so this would be a huge chance to flip a star recruit.

Sanders Jr., who is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 1 player from his state. He’s ranked as the 5th-best player nationally by 247Sports.

Sanders Jr. had originally taken his visit to Ohio State on June 21, a week after being in Knoxville for his visit with Tennessee.

Recruited by Justin Frey, Sanders Jr. had visited Ohio State, Georgia, Tennessee, Clemson, South Carolina and Nebraska, committing to the Volunteers on August 17, 2024.

That said, this could be a huge opportunity for the Buckeyes to impressive another top-10 prospect, already having multiple committed from the Class of 2025.
