For a true Christmas fan, it can never be too early to plan for one of the nation's most favourite celebrations of the year. Acknowledging that, a West Lothian zoo decided against postponing their exciting Christmas event announcement.
Five Sisters Zoo in West Calder could not wait till the summer ended to gladden their visitors with the news that their Christmas Illuminations event will return this year.
Announcing the beginning of the early bird tickets sale for the family-friendly event, the zoo team said: "Five Sisters Zoo Christmas Illuminations is back for another year, BIGGER, brighter, and better than ever before.

When booking the tickets, there will also be the opportunity to add a Santa experience to your booking after selecting your illuminations date and timeslot.
The announcement got the Facebook community excited, with many people taking to the comment section to express how happy they were with the last year's event.
Amongst over 1,500 comments that the post got since being published on July 28, there were those humouring the Christmas-themed news coming in the middle of the summer. However, despite the much-loved December holiday being months away, some of the slots for the light show have limited availability already.
The Christmas Illuminations event at the Five Sisters Zoo will run over the weekend in November and throughout the whole month of December up until December 24.
