Five Sisters Zoo announced at the beginning of the month that its cheetah exhibit is now open to view for the public following their arrival at the zoo last month.
The four large cats came to West Calder from England after the private collection they belonged to closed - they are currently the only cheetahs in Scotland!
There are two male cheetahs - Ijubane,3, and Velox,5 - and two females - Artemis, 5, and Ashanti, 3.
The felines were off-limits to the public for the first month of their residency at the Five Sisters - this was to allow them to get acclimated to their new surroundings.
A spokesperson for Five Sisters Zoo said: “We had to give the cats time to settle in - but now keepers are happy with how the four cats are getting on.
“So our new exhibit is now partially open to allow the public to observe the animals from above!
“It’s hoped that the new exhibit will be fully finished and open to all of the zoos visitors by mid-May.”
Visitors will be able to add their name to an ‘adoption board’ at the new exhibit by adopting a cheetah online.
Locals will be able to capture the cheetahs in all their glory at an upcoming ‘Big Cat Photography Night’ alongside snow leopards and lions on May 26.
